Kremenchuk volunteers have created their own analogue of the Russian mobile complex «Murom-M», which is used to monitor the terrain and protect military positions. The new Ukrainian device was called «Sova» and has already proven its effectiveness in the combat zone. This is reported by Facts.
The «Sova» complex is capable of tracking movement at a distance of up to 4 km during the day and up to 3 km at night thanks to infrared cameras. It can operate in conditions when there is no GPS connection and transmit information to remote command posts via secure channels. The system is also capable of automatically detecting targets, which significantly increases its functionality in combat conditions.
The development initiative belongs to the volunteer group «Kremenchuk na zakhisti», which is working on the production of technical equipment for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the developers, it took three months to create the first prototype, and the complex is currently being tested on the front.
Thanks to the Ukrainian analogue «Murom-M», our military receives a more modern tool for reconnaissance and defense of positions. Volunteers note that such developments are an important component of ensuring Ukraine's technological advantage in war.
