The terms of use of the newest Wi-Fi 6E radio equipment standard on the territory of Ukraine will be similar to the European ones.

This was reported by the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the field of electronic communications , radio frequency spectrum and provision of postal services (NKEK).

Proposals for the opening of a new 6 GHz band standard were agreed at the NKEK meeting and the Ministry of Digital was asked to make appropriate changes to the Plan for the distribution and use of the radio frequency spectrum in Ukraine, the message says.

Terms of use of the latest Wi-Fi 6E radio equipment standard on the territory of Ukraine will be similar to European ones – on the basis of general authorization without assigning a radio frequency.

It is noted that the new Wi-Fi 6E standard will provide:

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000
  • increasing bandwidth for Wi-Fi networks (480 MHz of additional spectrum), which means higher speed, lower delay and simultaneous transmission of much larger amounts of information for Wi-Fi users;
  • harmonization of the use of radio frequency spectrum for Wi-Fi radio technology -Fi from the EU;
  • supply of modern radio equipment to Ukraine.

We remind you that the Ministry of Statistics together with partners presented the strategy for the development of electronic communications until 2030. One of the key goals is that by 2030, 98% of the population should have mobile communication and broadband Internet access. Now this indicator is at the level of 91%.
