This was reported by the Ukrainian Embassy in Beirut.

According to the embassy, ​​the Laodiceya cargo ship moored in Tripoli, the second largest city in Lebanon. The embassy said the ship was carrying 5,000 tons of flour and 5,000 tons of barley.

The US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on the ship in 2015 due to its affiliation with the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

< p>Ukraine accused Russia of stealing grain and steel from its territory after Moscow invaded this country at the end of February.

The embassy in Beirut did not indicate how the barley was allegedly stolen from Ukraine.
