Ukraine ranked 15th in the ranking of the strongest armies in the world

The Armed Forces of Ukraine ranked 15th in the rating of military power of the Global Firepower portal. Note that last year Ukraine occupied the 22nd place in this list, so "grew up" by 5 notches. Russia, unfortunately, still ranks second in the rankings – behind the United States.

As Ukraine continues to defend against Russia, it has increased its GFP score for the current year as a result of its response, financial and material support from the West and the introduction of new key categories that contribute to its joint placement in the list.

In the GFP rating, Ukraine rose above Israel (18th place), Iran ( 17th place) and Poland (20th place). The top five countries with the strongest army are the USA, Russia, China, India and the UK.

BAGNET notes that the Global Firepower portal has been evaluating 140 armies of the world since 2006. According to the authors of the rating, when compiling a shortlist, approx. About 50 factors that allow taking into account the size of the armed forces, the level of technical equipment, financing, the use of modern technologies and logistical capabilities.
