According to the country's Ministry of Health, 18 medical workers were killed during the Russian invasion; about 900 medical facilities destroyed

Ukraine's health ministry said Sunday that at least 18 medical workers have died and nearly 900 medical facilities have been damaged or destroyed in Russia's six-month-long invasion of Ukraine.

In a Facebook post, the agency notes that since the beginning of the invasion, more than 50 medical workers have been injured as a result of Russian attacks.

The document also reports that 123 medical institutions in Ukraine have been completely destroyed; another 746 need to be restored.
