Ukraine is looking for innovative technologies to combat aggressor drones

The Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology, Minister of Digital Transformation announced the search for radio-electronic technologies to combat enemy drones.

Mykhailo Fedorov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

Drones play a key role in modern warfare, and Russian forces are actively using them for large-scale operations. To counter this threat, the Brave1 initiative platform, together with the D3 investment fund, is organizing the Jammer Hackathon, the goal of which is to create innovative systems to combat UAVs.

Main requirements for development:

  • Drone jamming: impact on DJI Mavic 3, Autel 4T and others using radio-electronic technologies that violate control protocols and component operation.
  • Automatic detection: systems for detecting and tracking drones.

Programmers, engineers, mathematicians, researchers, students, and startups can become participants in the hackathon. Teams will have the opportunity to develop their projects and present them to a professional jury. The best solutions will receive funding for further implementation.

Registration is open until November 25.
