The Ukrainian company producing RER and EW systems Kvertus (part of NAUDI) is implementing the ambitious project “Atlas”, the goal of which is to create a large-scale system of protection against UAVs for the military on the front line, as well as in the area close to the front line with a length of more than 1,300 kilometers, writes Defense Express.
It is noted that this system will integrate the company's early developments, which have already demonstrated their effectiveness on the battlefield.
The company's presentation video states that experts have developed a system that provides for the joint and simultaneous operation of RER and EW systems, as well as the ability to synchronize the system with its own drones:
“This is not a single device, it is an intelligent defense system that is ahead of the enemy's current capabilities. A system controlled remotely by a single operator via a cabinet on a secure server, which combines reconnaissance and suppression of enemy equipment”.
The publication listed the main advantages of Atlas:
It is also reported that one system provides 25-50 km of increased security on the front line. The cost of the project is estimated at 5.2 billion hryvnias. It is being created with the support of the cluster for the development of Defense Tech in Ukraine Brave1.
