The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine recently approved the overall WINWIN Digital Development Strategy, which covers 14 priority industries. The first sectoral strategy is dedicated to unmanned technologies (AUV, autonomous vehicles) and their implementation in the country's economy, WINWIN reports.
«We believe that unmanned technologies will become the foundation for Ukraine's innovative economy, creating new opportunities in agrotech, logistics and security. Therefore, in the WINWIN strategy, we define the development of this direction as one of the strategic goals. Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology, noted — Minister of Digital Transformation.
Among the key areas of the strategy:
- Military AUVs: autonomous systems for demining, reconnaissance and combat missions.
- Agricultural technologies: unmanned tractors for safe demining and automation of agricultural work.
- Transport and logistics: autonomous trucks and vessels to optimize transportation and reduce risks.
- Infrastructure: use of unmanned solutions for the restoration of damaged facilities.
The strategy also provides for the creation of R&D centers for research and development in the field of AUV, testing grounds, as well as cooperation with international technology companies.
