Ukraine produces more powerful drones than Shahed -136.
They have a long range and a large charge of explosives, said the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yury Ignat on the air of the telethon, reports Gazeta.ua.
He was asked about the construction of a plant by the Russians production of Iranian drones.
"Ukraine is not sitting idly by. We also have capacities working at a high level, I mean enterprises that can now produce shock drones. Our partners will help us with this weaponry, we will also build up strike UAVs in this direction”, – Ignat said to this.
He added that it is necessary to strengthen means of countermeasures against drones.
"Means of countermeasures must also be developed – shooting means, rockets, EW means that can affect the operation of these aircraft”, – he explained.
