Ukraine continues to strengthen the economy of totalitarian China

In January-September of this year, Ukraine imported goods worth $51.2 billion.

Exported – $30.7 billion. This was reported by the State Customs Service.

Taxable imports amounted to $42.5 billion, which is 83% of the total volume of imported goods.

“The countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine were: China – $10.3 billion, Poland – $5 billion and Germany – $3.9 billion,” the State Customs Service reported.

The most goods from Ukraine were exported to Poland – by $3.6 billion, Spain – by $2.1 billion, Germany – by $2.1 billion.

The following categories accounted for 65% of the total volume of goods imported in January-September 2024:

  • machinery, equipment and transport – $17.7 billion. During customs clearance, UAH 125.7 billion was paid to the state budget, which is 30% of customs duties;
  • chemical industry products – $8.8 billion. UAH 65.2 billion, or 15% of customs duties, was paid to the budget;
  • fuel and energy – $6.8 billion. UAH 111.7 billion was paid, which is 26% of customs duties, the State Customs Service reported.
