On August 31, a new season of Ukrainian Fashion Week began. The slogan of the Fashion Week is No Season Season, since designer collections are not tied to a specific time of the year.

FROLOV

Ukrainian Fashion Week opened with a show of designer FROLOV (Ivan Frolov) with his new collection AZUCAR.

According to the UFW website, Ivan's collection was inspired by a photograph he received from a loved one who traveled to Central and South America. The photo shows the sunset in Havana, the capital of Cuba. Historically, this phenomenon is a symbol of strength, passion and an appeal to your personal self. The color palette also has a Cuban influence: crimson red, orange, yellow and gold.

ELENA BURENINA

Elena Burenina reportedly created her new collection SS21 under the impression of the character of Tilda Swinton in the film “I AM LOVE” by Italian director Luca Guadagnino. The collection also includes the brand's men's line.

VOROZHBYT & ZEMSKOVA

The collection was inspired by the major cities of the future, in particular the ideas of the futurist Jacques Fresco with his Venus Project concept. This is a unique project of a cyber metropolis, where science and technology will serve the society with less impact on the environment. Elena Vorozhbit and Tatiana Zemskova coded symbols of femininity in the new collection.
