Fighters Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier have hit the weight limit for their Saturday night clash at UFC 257, presented in Abu Dhabi.

The Irishman swung the scales at 155 pounds on Friday, while his rival posted a weight of 156 pounds.
McGregor (22-4), who is the former lightweight champion, will return to the Octagon for the first time since Jan. 18, 2020 and for only the third time in four years.
For his part, Poirier (26-6) will try to obtain revenge for a defeat suffered in 2014.
At the time, McGregor knocked him out. in less than two minutes, using a powerful left.
Note also that the two protagonists of the co-main fight of UFC 257, Michael Chandler (21-5) and Dan Hooker (21-9), also respected the weight limit.
