Two teenagers arrested ;s for uttering threats against their school

The two teenagers accused of having uttered threats against Lorette Collegiate were students at the school, RCMP say.

Two teenagers, accused of x27;having made threats online against Lorette Collegiate College were arrested Thursday according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The two boys, released on conditions, are students at the school.

The school, which serves students in grades 9 to 12, is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Winnipeg.

Thursday, shortly before noon, the school was raided by the police because of these threats. The alert was lifted around 1 p.m., according to a letter sent to parents.

In a press release Friday, the RCMP said that #x27;A teenager who allegedly made threats was arrested without incident just outside the school.

The latter was found at his home and arrested without incident. The two arrests took place in a very short time, police say.

According to the RCMP, they are accused of having uttered threats and were released on conditions.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court at a later date. Police did not provide details on the nature of the threats.
