Russian drones crashed in Romania on January 17. They were found in two places in the border counties of Botosani and Tulcea.
RBK-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
“An interdepartmental group completed the research conducted on January 17 in the border area of Tulcea district after the drone attack at night on civilian targets and port infrastructure of Ukraine,” the report says.
As it is specified, the results of field searches revealed two areas where Russian-origin Geran1/2 drones fell.
One crash site is located between the settlements of Çatalkioi (Tulcea county) and Tudor-Vladimirescu (Tulcea county) Botosani), and the second – south of Ciliai-Veche (Tulcea County).
“The impact of the drone debris did not affect infrastructure elements and no material damage was reported,” the Ministry of Defense added.
