The Democratic Party presented Thursday the results of a commission of inquiry into the millions paid to Donald Trump's assets by 20 countries while he was president, and therefore in violation of the Constitution.

The four properties targeted are the offices and apartments of Trump Tower, an iconic skyscraper on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, and hotel and residential properties in New York, Washington and Las Vegas.
The Chinese state-owned bank ICBC, for example, rented offices at Trump Tower and Beijing's total spending benefited the former head of state's real estate assets amounted to $5.5 million, according to the report.

The 77-year-old businessman is, according to polls, the favorite for the Republican primaries for the American presidential election, which start on January 15.
But the billionaire, criminally charged four times, faces several trial this year. He and his sons Donald Jr. and Eric are currently on civil trial in New York on charges of financial fraud by the Trump Organization.
