TV Republika employee reveals the truth. The station's authorities impose a boycott of Jurek Owsiak

As the “Jastrząb Post” portal reminds, Jerzy Owsiak has been the subject of attacks from right-wing media for several days. TV Republika even announced a special campaign “I don't give to Owsiak, I support Republika”. The smear campaign against the head of WOŚP has caused him to receive threats recently. One of the station's employees decided to speak out.

Smear campaign against Owsiak

Jurek Owsiak revealed in a moving post that he has been receiving regular threats in recent days. In his opinion, this is largely due to right-wing stations, which have been regularly attacking Owsiak himself and his charitable activities for several days now. The leaders in this regard are TV Republika and wPolsce24pl.

It is hard to be surprised by these attacks, especially considering that the employees of the aforementioned stations were once the faces of TVP under the government of the good change and carried out similar actions aimed at WOŚP and its leader.

TV Republika even went a step further and organized the campaign “I don't give to Owsiak, I support Republika”, in which it convinces people to boycott the collections conducted by WOŚP and transfer donations to Sakiewicz's television.

An employee of Republika spoke out

In a conversation with “Plejada”, one of the employees of TV Republika referred to the smear campaign against Owsiak. He revealed that the “order” to boycott Jurek Owsiak and WOŚP came “from above”. He added that not all employees have the same opinion about Owsiak and WOŚP as the station's boss.

“Everyone tries not to comment loudly on the actions of the management. There is an imposed boycott of WOŚP, so we boycott. And is it in line with everyone's conscience? I don't think so” – stated Plejada's interlocutor.

The portal's source reports that Sakiewicz considers the allegations against his station to be groundless, and calls Owsiak's post a fabrication.
