All measures were taken to prevent harm to innocent civilians,” the ministry said.

Kurdish sources write that the strikes were carried out on the Syrian cities of Al-Qamishli (the de facto capital of the self-proclaimed Syrian Kurdistan), Kobani, the Iraqi city of Sinjar, as well as other populated areas. The operation involves aircraft, drones and artillery.

Earlier BAGNET reported that as a result of the terrorist attack at the Turkish Aerospace Industries enterprise, which also produces military equipment, four people were killed.
