Turkish developers have introduced battle Corvets of a new generation of his class Hisar

< p >Hisar corvettes are created on the basis of the famous Turkish ADA project, maintaining the total length of the body 99 meters, but have a number of key differences. In particular, they are equipped with a combined power plant & mdash; four diesel and two electric motors & mdash; as well as a modular architecture that allows you to adapt the ship to various weapons, including anti -ship and anti -aircraft missiles. These technical capabilities have aroused the interest of the Romanian military, although the details of the ship's adaptation to the latest NSM missiles are not currently revealed.

< P > In the basic tuning of HISAR corvetted 76 mm cannon installation, two remote control modules with machine guns 12.7 mm, and also has the ability to install eight missiles atmaca, eight ziel-aircraft missiles G & ouml; kdeniz.

< P > Two ships of this class have already been built for Turkey's Navy: TCG AKHISAR (P-1220) and TCG KO & Amp; Ccedil; HISAR (P-1221), which were launched in September 2023. The first of them was already undergoing running tests at the end of 2024. Both Corvets are expected to be part of Turkey's fleet in 2025, and in total can be built up to 10 units of the HISAR project.

< p > Among the technical characteristics & mdash; The displacement of 2300 tons, the maximum speed up to 24 knots, the range of 4500 miles at 12 nodes, a crew of 104 people and autonomy up to 21 days. This project demonstrates the progress of Turkey as an exporter of modern naval weapons and at the same time testifies to Romania's desire for strategic modernization of the fleet in conditions of regional challenges.
