Former US President Donald Trump went through the formal arrest procedure in Fulton County Jail, Georgia, in the case of election interference.

This is reported by CNN with reference to court records.< /p>

It is noted that Trump has undergone a formal detention procedure. He was temporarily arrested and booked into the Fulton County Jail, where he was held for 20 minutes.

The former US president was searched, photographed and fingerprinted at the jail.

Trump was in detention for about 20 minutes, after which his the motorcade headed to the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

According to CNN, the arrest procedure was quick because earlier Trump and his lawyers made an agreement with the investigation on a preventive measure in the form of a personal bond&rsquo. He agreed to bail in the amount of $200,000.
