Trump supported Musk's idea of visas for the right workers

US President-elect Donald Trump has said he supports immigration visas for highly skilled workers. It seems that he is siding with billionaire Elon Musk, who has sparked controversy with supporters of the MAGA movement over this.

The Republican told the New York Post about this.

According to Trump, he «always liked» These visas are why the U.S. has them.

«I believed in the H-1B. I used it many times. It's a great program», — Trump added, even though he restricted visas for foreign workers during his first term and has criticized the program in the past.

H-1B visas are a program designed to attract highly skilled foreign workers, which is critical for U.S. technology groups.

Meanwhile, supporters of the pro-Trump MAGA movement want the president-elect to fulfill his promise to promote American workers and impose stricter restrictions on immigration. MAGA supporters were outraged that Trump appointed Indian-born entrepreneur Sriram Krishnan as his artificial intelligence advisor. Musk, however, supported Trump's move, as well as the invitation of foreign experts.

«It comes down to this: do you want America to win or do you want America to lose? If you force the best talent in the world to play for the other side, America will lose», – Elon Musk said.

Against the backdrop of the immigration issue, he also called «contemptible fools» members of the Republican Party who are «hateful, unrepentant racists». Musk has been accused of censorship, as at least 14 far-right X users lost their blue checkmarks after discussing the topic of migrants.

Meanwhile, US Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding that President-elect Donald Trump answer a series of questions. They are associated with the influence of billionaire Elon Musk.

Billionaire and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who is a member of the team of newly elected US President Donald Trump, expressed dissatisfaction with the request of the current head of the White House Joe Biden to Congress for additional aid to Ukraine in the amount of $ 24 billion.

SpaceX lawyers warned Elon Musk about the futility of attempts to obtain the highest level of access to government information from the security department after the billionaire joins Donald Trump's administration.
