Trump said he would like to temporarily leave the social network TikTok

Donald Trump has expressed his desire to temporarily keep TikTok in the US, despite a planned ban in a month. The decision came after a meeting with the company's CEO and impressive viewing figures.

A month before the planned ban on TikTok in the US, President-elect Donald Trump expressed his desire to keep the popular app around for a while.

This is reported by Reuters.

We have to start thinking, because, you know, we went on TikTok, and we got a great response – billions of views, billions and billions of views

– Trump said during a rally in Phoenix, Arizona.

Trump said he was shown a graph of TikTok's record-breaking numbers and was very impressed. He then suggested that the app might be worth keeping around for a while.
