The activities of America PAC, which supports Trump's candidacy, are also monitored by the North Carolina Attorney General and the Michigan Secretary of State.

Musk also owns a social media company X Networks, formerly known as Twitter. Trump was an avid user of Twitter for years, until the site blocked his account after he incited a crowd of his supporters to riot at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The ban was lifted after how Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion.
