US presidential candidate Donald Trump responded to the bill on military assistance to Ukraine, which will be voted on by the House of Representatives on April 20.

The politician sharply addressed the EU countries, calling on them to increase their supplies to Kyiv to volumes equal to American ones.

Trump wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.

— Why can't Europe put in the same or proportional amount as the United States of America is putting in to help a country in desperate need of help?

Everyone agrees, Ukraine's survival and strength must be much greater more important for Europe than for us, but it is also important for us! Move, Europe!— he wrote on April 18.

BAGNET notes that this is not the first time that Donald Trump has demanded that the EU increase its share of military aid supplies to Ukraine.

This position he presented in the context of the prospects for the US withdrawal from NATO, since he considers the structure of the bloc to be unfair.
