Finalprice startup, headed by Petr Kutis, co-founder of Anywayanyday.com, raised $ 1 million from three investors, company representatives told Vedomosti. The leader of the round was the OKS Group company of Oleg Polyakov and Kirill Matveev (partners of the advertising holding Dentsu Russia), its representative confirmed. Sistema VC and Almaz Capital said they also participated in the round. The OKS Group clarified that the company accounted for more than half of the funds raised. Cutis said he will remain the owner of more than 50% in the company after the deal is finalized.
Finalprice was created in 2017 and already then received funding in the amount of $ 4 million, according to one of the participants in that investment round – Sistema VC. Finalprice offers users a $ 99 annual subscription that allows them to purchase travel services at vendor prices. The startup returns commissions received from suppliers for booking to subscribers in the form of discounts or cashback. The savings can be 10–35% of the order value. Cutis claims that the Finalprice database contains more than 1 million hotels worldwide – the same ones that are represented in the largest booking systems Booking.com and Expedia.com. Until now, the service has focused on the US market.
