~ ~ ~ < P > In an interview with PC Gamer on GDC 2025, Porter noted that if the studios are calculating days, waiting for the game's release, and then it is delayed for several months, they will have to face serious problems:

~ ~ ~ < P > “If you play expectations from GTA 6 exit and the game is delayed for several months, what you will do ? you will either need to release your project into the void, or continue the budget for extra six months, and I am sure that some companies will be on the limit.” < P > The GTA 6 release is scheduled for autumn this year, but the Game Industry has long been accustomed to transfer, and it is likely that the game may be delayed by 2026. Porter recalled that games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Starfield and Assassin's Creed Shadows, also survived the transfer.

< P > Interestingly, the BORDERLANDS 4 release, which is intended for September 23, can also serve as an indirect indication of the possible transfer of GTA 6, as both games publish a take-two interactive. So far, the GTA 6 release is officially scheduled for the fall, and the director of the take-Two Strauss Zelnik assures that there will be no transfers.

< P > Despite this, Porter is not sure that the GTA 6 output will give the industry the same long -awaited impetus: “They say that GTA 6 will revive the market and I think there is a proportion of truth, but I am not sure that it will be comprehensively positive.”
