Traitor who called Kharkiv a “Russian city” on the Internet will appear in court

A supporter of “her own” who called Kharkiv a “Russian city” will be tried.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the prosecutor's office, a resident of Kharkiv, who is an ardent supporter of the so-called “Russian world”, actively shared her position in comments to posts in pro-Russian Telegram channels. She claimed that “Kharkiv is a Russian city” and noted that the population of Ukraine should pray for the Russian president. The woman stated that the occupiers were hitting only “military facilities” and spoke disparagingly of Ukrainian patriots.

Law enforcement officers gathered evidence and exposed the woman. The traitor will await trial while in custody. She faces up to five years in prison.

An indictment has already been sent to the court against a 60-year-old woman for posting materials containing calls to change the borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine, and distributing materials containing denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine (Part 1 of Article 110 and Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
