The experts gave the first place in the upcoming changes to the rules to the ban on stopping and parking vehicles on the “islands of safety”. They want to introduce this rule because of the increased incidence of collisions with cars parked in this area. The second place was given to new requirements for glass tinting. The limit on the proportion of light transmitted by the windshield has now been reduced from 75% to 70%. The honorable third place went to the permission to carry any fire extinguisher, any first aid kit and any emergency sign in the car, in other words, motorists are no longer required to use only those products that are provided for by GOST.

Also among the important changes, the publication notes the introduction of new rules for managing electric unicycle, segway, electric scooter and other vehicles from this list. Now they will be prohibited from driving at speeds above 20 kilometers per hour, and a ban on driving such vehicles while intoxicated will be introduced.

The latest innovation relates to the control of electric scooters, hoverboards and other children similar to vehicles. So, under the age of 7 years, they will be allowed to drive only on sidewalks or pedestrian areas and only under the supervision of adults. Older children will have the right to move independently on such electric vehicles.
