While some were delighted by the removal of the C8 channel by Arcom from February 2025, thus leading to the disappearance of the highly controversial show Touche pas à mon Poste hosted by Cyril Hanouna, the host and close friend of billionaire Vincent Bolloré has not said his last word, and will return at the head of a brand new project.
After the resumption of “TPMP” and Face à Hanouna”
On Wednesday, July 24, Arcom made the difficult decision not to renew C8's frequenciesand NRJ12 as part of the renewal of 15 TNT frequencies. The numerous sanctions and controversies generated by the channel's flagship program have pushed the audiovisual policeman to decide. From now on, “TPMP” will no longer be broadcast live, but delayed by 15 to 45 minutes from Monday, September 2.
The shock announcement by Arcom seems a long way off, however, because “Baba” will return in “Face à Hanouna”,prime time show broadcast every Saturday and Sunday at 7:10 p.m. starting September 7. But the host-producer will even treat himself to an XXL comeback and increase his influence since he will also be present daily on Europe 1, one of the most listened to radio stations in France.
Hanouna on Europe 1 in “On marche sur la tete”,
In a press release, the station announced that the host will present from Monday to Friday “On marche sur la tete”, a debate show on current affairs. “I am very happy to return to Europe 1, this legendary radio station and to find its teams who welcomed me wonderfully. At first it was for 10 days, I hope that now it is for life!” Cyril Hanouna quickly rejoiced.
The show was already tested last June. A short programming that has already earned the program a formal notice for lack of “moderation” and ''honesty“, particularly against the New Popular Front. But Europe 1 can rejoice, because the two weeks of broadcasting earned the show “an average audience for the 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. time slot multiplied by almost 3 compared to May”.
Broadcast from 4pm to 6pm, On marche sur la tete will therefore appear just before Touche pas à mon Poste. Viewers will therefore be able to treat themselves to Hanouna for a good four hours straight. With the addition of the weekend prime time, the host and Bolloré's darling will be on air seven days a week. That's what we call a successful return to school.
