Toyota has voted on a $2.5 billion investment in the new Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) manufacturing plant.

A massive Japanese company is investing $3.8 billion to create nearly 2,100 jobs. It should be clear that the viability of batteries will be revealed at the nearest sprat of rock. I think it's time to start running the business in 2025.
After saying Norm Bafunno, senior vice president of engineering, Toyota Motor North America:
« This marks another important milestone for our company. This plant is playing a central role in pushing Toyota towards a fully electrified future and will help us reach our goal of carbon neutrality in our cars by 2035.”
