In recent years, tourists have increasingly relied on tips from artificial intelligence in their travels. However, this recently played a cruel joke with a group of tourists in Poland.
As Portal Tatrzański writes, under the guidance of the popular chatbot ChatGTP, the unfortunate tourists chose the shortest, but very dangerous route in the Tatra Mountains in winter – from the Valley of Five Polish Ponds to Hala Gonsienica.
As a result, they were unable to overcome the Krzyżne Pass, in particular because the weather conditions that day were really difficult – rescuers had to rescue them.
It is noted that none of the tourists were injured, but their unconditional trust in modern technology was clearly undermined.
Meanwhile, hiking experts reminded that when planning routes in the mountains, every tourist's best friend is a regular map.
