Tomasz Jakubiak is battling a rare cancer, and his fight to return to health is being followed by his supporters. It is thanks to them that money was raised for treatment in Israel. PLN 1.2 million was raised in just over a month since the fundraiser was launched.

Jakubiak's life is now subordinated to treatment. The culinary expert regularly visits hospitals, where he undergoes intensive treatment. One of its elements is a hyperbaric chamber. Every day, he spends about an hour in it. During one of the therapies, he connected with his followers on Instagram.

In the recording, he gave information that he will soon fly to Israel, where he will attempt treatment.

Tomasz Jakubiak flies to Israel

“There is light at the end of the tunnel. On December 2nd, we are flying to Israel. Thanks to you, the donors, we can afford to attempt treatment in Jerusalem, where they are already waiting for me in the clinic. There, after the last thorough genetic tests, they found some protocol that you can supposedly use and try the treatment, so thank you very much for supporting me,” he said on recording.

Under the post, Jakubiak's supporters showered him with wishes for a speedy recovery. “Now it's all downhill! Everyone here is keeping their fingers crossed for a fast pace!” – wrote one of the Internet users. “Let this light at the end of the tunnel turn into a huge lantern and a studio lamp! GOOD HEALTH, WARRIOR,” added another.

There's nothing left for us to do but join in these wishes.
