The two forties met in the field of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Brady took the time to chat with Brees, his wife and their children.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hub also threw a touchdown pass to one of his rival and friend’s sons.
The New Orleans Saints quarterback may have played the last game of his brilliant career. In a post-game press conference, the 41-year-old said he wanted to take time to think about his future.
Brees played 20 seasons in the NFL, 15 with the Saints and five with the San Diego Chargers. He won the Vince-Lombardi Trophy once with the New Orleans club (2009).
If he hung up his cleats, Brees would end his NFL run with a 67.7% success rate, 80,358 yards and 571 air touchdowns.
