London – Today, male and female kayakers will fight for medals at the World Water Slalom Championships. Jiří Prskavec and Vít Přindiš, the world champions from previous years, will be in London at the start of the semi-finals, and with them Jakub Krejčí, who dominated Thursday's qualification by a hundredth ahead of Prskavec. In the women's race, Amálie Hilgertová and Antonie Galušková will start.

Czech kayakers have already won team gold in the Olympic channel. In the individual race, Přindis will defend his title from Augsburg. Prskavec already won the world championship in London in 2015, he couldn't find a winner even at the WC in Seu d'Urguell in 2019, and this year in Krakow he became European champion for the sixth time.
