After the huge success that was Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel is finally emerging from its long wilderness and is returning to success on an international scale. The future may be more promising than in recent years. In the meantime, MCU fans will be able to watch Captain America 4 next February and “the Suicide Squad” made in Marvel with Thunderbolts* scheduled for April 2025 and whose first trailer has just been released.

ÇThere it is, Marvel is finally finding its colors again thanks to the arrival of Deadpool and his sidekick Wolverine in the MCU. The production is exploding at the global box office and the studio hopes that the future will continue in this direction. Soon, fans of the House of Ideas will be able to go to theaters to discover Captain America 4 whose release date is scheduled for February 12, 2025. Then, Marvel Studios will offer what is considered to be its “Suicide Squad”. Indeed, scheduled for April 30, 2025, the MCU will be enriched with a new production with Thunderbolts*. The latter will be the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the 6th and final film of Phase V.
Here, the film is part of the continuity of Black Widow released in 2021 and Captain America: Brave New World as well as the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series. The public will follow the Thunderbolts team, composed of several criminals and ex-convicts who will help the American government by carrying out missions. However, during a mission that was a suicide mission, the members of this gang will turn against the US government and their boss Valentina de Fontaine.

Directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts* will be the opportunity to find in the cast Florence Pugh who will reprise his role of Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan who will be back as James “Bucky” Barnes, John Walker aka U.S. Agent in the guise of Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamenas Ava Starr/The Phantom but also David Harbour who will be Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian and Julia Louis-Dreyfus who will play the role of Countess Valentina de Fontaine. Note that Harrison Ford will also be there, reprising the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross who was played by William Hurt until his death occurred in 2021.
