The Ottawa teenager arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) for terrorism-related offenses now faces five charges. He appeared at the Ottawa courthouse Monday afternoon by videoconference.

He was already accused of having instructed a person to engage in terrorist activity against Jewish people.

As for him, the chief of the Ottawa Police Service, Eric Stubbs, congratulated all the police forces who participated in the investigation, including his own.

However, he says he is concerned about the rise of radicalization in the federal capital.
