Three Lviv region residents accused of disrupting mobilization events via Viber

In the Lviv region, the prosecutor's office completed a pre-trial investigation and sent cases to court against three people, aged 37 and 46, accused of interfering in the activities of the Armed Forces. According to Part One of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, these individuals operated Viber channels aimed at informing about mobilization actions in Yavoriv and Drohobych districts.

Operation of special services

The investigation found that the accused used the social platform to publish information about the whereabouts of the personnel of the CCC and the SP, as well as the time of mobilization events.

Consequences of the activities

The actions of the detainees created serious obstacles to the timely conduct of mobilization measures, which are critical for the country's defense capability. Thanks to the operational actions of the SBU investigators, these suspicious activities were stopped.

We note that according to Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, an accusation is not proof of a person's guilt, and their guilt must be proven in court.
