Three countries plan to transfer new weapons to Ukraine

Czech Republic agreed with Denmark and the Netherlands that, with their financial support, it would supply Czech weapons to Ukraine. We are talking about tanks, howitzers and air defense systems.

Deputy Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic, Daniel Blazhkovec, stated this, reports České noviny.

The corresponding document on cooperation was signed today on the sidelines of the meeting of the contact group regarding Ukraine at the American air base Ramstein in Germany with representatives of Denmark and the Netherlands.

"In the opinion of the Ministry defense of the Czech Republic, this agreement will be a great opportunity for Czech companies. The first sub-project will be the gift of 15 modernized T-72EA tanks. it says in the material.

Delivery of additional tanks, howitzers, small arms, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft and electronic warfare equipment or ammunition from Czech defense industry enterprises is planned.

Although Ukraine will receive the above-mentioned tanks in the near future, the rest of the weapons delivered under the signed agreement will be gradually received by the Ukrainian army in the coming months and in 2024.

Earlier BAGNET reported that Norway, within the scope of military aid, will give  Ukraine has about 50 tracked transporters M548, which are designed for the transportation of people and goods in off-road conditions.
