This is Google's answer to ChatGPT. Introduced Bard service based on the “reasonable” language model LaMDA
It will be available to everyone in the coming weeks
Google has submitted its answer to ChatGPT — an experimental AI conversational service called Bard.
< p>Bard relies on the LaMDA language model, which made a splash last year when one of the Google experts called the system reasonable. As of today, Bard has become available only to some users in the testing format, but in the coming weeks everyone will be able to try it out.
Google notes that it is releasing Bard first with a lighter version of LaMDA that requires much less computing power. This will allow Google to make the system available to more users. By the looks of it, Bard will get better later on by moving to a full-fledged model.
The search giant also said it's going to create a set of tools and APIs that will make it easier for third-party developers to build more innovative AI apps.
