Aleksandra Dulkiewicz informed about the meeting with Pope Francis on Twitter. The Mayor of Gdańsk published a photo in which she is seen greeting the Holy Father after the general audience.

Aleksandra Dulkiewicz took advantage of this situation not only to shake the Pope's hand, but also invited him to visit Gdańsk. The occasion is special because Dulkiewicz invited the Holy Father to the celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the signing of the August Agreements. The celebrations will take place next summer.
