This app is eating up memory on your phone: how to fix the problem in a couple of clicks

One of the apps on your phone that takes up a lot of memory is Telegram. The thing is that it accumulates a cache that needs to be cleaned periodically so that the gadget doesn't start to slow down.

“Telegraph” tells you how to easily and quickly delete this residual data and free up a lot of memory. This will only take a few minutes.

Please note that if you are an active user of this program and are also subscribed to a large number of channels, then in a week the cache files can take up 1 GB or more. Deleting them will not affect your received or sent messages, media files, etc.

How to clear the cache in Telegram

  • Go to the messenger;
  • Then find “Settings”;
  • Select “Data and memory/Data and storage”;
  • Next, click on “Memory usage/Storage usage”;
  • After that, on the screen Information will appear on how much memory the cache takes up on the phone. You need to click on “delete cache”;
  • Then you need to wait until the deletion process is complete.
