In the Kirovograd region, the police detained a “thief in law” from the list of the National Security and Defense Council “Armen Znamensky” (“Armen Khokhl”).

This is reported by the press service of the National Police.

"Being on the territory of Ukraine in the status of a person of increased criminal influence," thief in law" nicknamed "Armen Khokhol" organized and controlled the activities of criminal groups that commit grave and especially grave crimes of a violent and property nature”, – the message says.

As the police say, he received his special status in the criminal world in 2011 in Moscow.

“Based on the evidence obtained, he was informed of suspicion. The attacker was hiding from the investigation, so he was put on the international wanted list. In addition, sanctions were imposed on him by the National Security and Defense Council, – the police add.

Now he has been placed in isolation. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
