Schoolboy Andriy from Chernihiv dreamed of meeting Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, the frontman of the band Okean Elsa. Recently, his wish came true.
Now the boy is preparing for a joint performance on stage with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. This is reported by Suspilne Chernihiv.
13-year-old Andriy lives in a large family and has five more brothers and sisters. The boy has a well-developed ear and has been practicing vocals for the past two years.
The boy's teacher Lyubov Tyanutova notes that Andriy has talent and perfect hearing. He often sings the songs of the band Okean Elza and dreamed of meeting Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.
His wish came true after volunteer Igor Khonin came to the educational and rehabilitation center where the boy is a student. The man took a video of Andriy's singing and posted the video on the network, where the whole world saw it.
He told me that his dream was to sing with Vakarchuk. Then I posted the video. I think that about 100 people said that they would marry Vakarchuk, – noted Khonin.
And so it happened, Vakarchuk came to meet Andrii. The boy did not immediately believe that he was hearing the voice of the frontman of the Okean Elsa band, but then the singer performed his favorite song “Hugs” for the teenager.
I am surprised that he came like this, but my dream in principle, it was realized. We will try to sing with him, because I really want to sing with such a beautiful soloist of the band “Ocean Elsa”. It's just cool!, said Andriy.
In the future, Andriy agreed with Svyatoslav to sing together on the same big stage.
