The network reported about a mysterious silent green light that was noticed over the positions of the Ukrainian military. Its source can be the new UAV thermal imager Zala Z-16 IRQ-V/L with a laser target pointer.

This is what Serhii “Flesh” Beskrestnov, a Ukrainian expert on drones, EW devices and other military radio electronics, said in Telegram. He explained that he had received several letters from the military that “silent shit on the fronts shines a green light on our positions”.

Eventually, Flash reported that the source of the green light – Zala Z-16 IRQ-V/L UAV thermal imager with laser target pointer.

“Further on, the illumination will likely be struck (FPV, artillery, Krasnopol, or aircraft). Illumination is also used to lure personnel out of shelters,” – warned the military Flash.

UAV Zala Z-16 IRQ-V/L is distinguished by its flexibility and the ability to perform complex tasks thanks to a number of unique characteristics. In particular:

– hybrid power plant providing more than 12 hours of continuous flight;

– electric power plant in other models, which allows to fly for more than 6 hours;

– precise positioning with support for RTK technology, which increases the accuracy of navigation.

– Unique target payloads, including HD video cameras with thermal imaging, laser designators with a range of up to 1,500 m, as well as multispectral cameras for data collection at different ranges.

– Resistance to radio interference and the ability to broadcast video in HD format in real time at a distance of more than 150 km.

– Flexibility in the installation of additional equipment, which allows the UAV to be adapted to perform a variety of missions, including reconnaissance, monitoring and strike operations.
