There are 6 reasons why the smartphone does not turn on, and some of them can be easily fixed

Many users face a situation when their smartphone does not turn on. This can be as simple as a dead battery or a more serious problem.

In case of a complex malfunction, you will need to contact the service center. But you can try to find the cause of the problem yourself. For this, it is worth considering the main reasons why the phone may not turn on. According to PC Mag, there are 6 key reasons.

Full device discharge

This is the simplest reason, but it is often underestimated. It is worth remembering when the device was last charged – time flies when you are watching content. Connect the phone to the charger and wait a few minutes, because sometimes it takes a while for the device to accumulate enough energy to start up.

Screen failure

In this case, the device itself is functional, but the display does not work. To check, try turning the phone off and on again while holding the power button. If you feel vibration or hear sounds – the screen needs repair.

Mechanical damage

Drops or contact with water can cause problems with turning on the device.

Software Crashes

If you've previously experienced random reboots or problems completing tasks, you may need to update your software.

Battery problems

Inspect the battery for deformation or leakage – such damage requires immediate replacement.

Defective charger

Sometimes the problem is hidden not in the phone, but in the damaged charger. Check the integrity of the cable – its damage is a fairly common cause. Such a cable may not charge the smartphone, although the screen will display information that it is charging.
