The smallest 5G phone in the world is presented

Unihertz introduced the world's smallest 5G phone Jelly Max.

The Unihertz company, known for its miniature smartphones, announced a new gadget in the Jelly line – Jelly Max. The novelty will be the world's smallest smartphone with 5G support. This is reported by the publication GizmoChina.

Although the official details are still kept under wraps, Unihertz has released teasers that give an idea of what awaits future Jelly Max users. It seems that the novelty will be equipped with a modern display with a hole for the front camera. It is also expected to have an under-screen fingerprint scanner, which suggests the OLED nature of the matrix.

The diagonal of the screen remains a mystery, but judging by the teaser images, it will vary from 4 to 5 inches. For comparison: in the previous smartphone Unihertz – Jelly Star – a 3-inch panel was used.

At the time of publication, the Jelly Max has not received 3C certifications or approval from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT), which is required to legally sell the smartphone in China. The absence of these documents suggests that Jelly Max is probably in the early stages of development.
