The winners of the “Mykolaychuk Open” film festival were announced: who is among the laureates

The Mykolaychuk OPEN spectator film festival, which took place in Chernivtsi for the third time, announced the winners of the national and international competitions.

The winners of the national and international competitions were announced in Chernivtsi film festival “Mykolaichuk Open”. The best were chosen by audience voting.

In the international competition, the film “Kripachka” directed by DK (Dorota Kobyel) and Hugh Welchman won.

The second prize in the international competition was awarded to the film “Forever-forever” by Ukrainian director Anna Buryachkova. This is the full-length game debut of a well-known clip maker.

The short film “Nuance” directed by Margarita Voronova and Oleg Kibalnyk won the national competition.

The film “Sonechko” directed by Sergey Kulybyshev received a special award from the festival partners AMO Pictures.

shaft Mykolaychuk OPEN was created in 2022. This year it was held in Chernivtsi for the third time. Its traditional location is the cultural and artistic center named after Ivan Mykolaychuk.

It takes place on the dates that include the birthday of the founder of the festival, Ukrainian actor, screenwriter and director Ivan Mykolaychuk – June 15. This year there were 68 films in the program – from Ukrainian shorts to the works of Oscar nominees and hits of genre cinema.
