The winners of the KISFF short meter festival have become known

Winners of the festival/KISFF < p>The 13th KISFF short film festival, which took place from September 12 to 18 in the “Zhovten” and “KINO42” cinemas, ended in Kyiv. At the closing ceremony, the winners of the Ukrainian and International competition programs were announced.

This was reported by the KISFF press service, reports The Village.

This year, the KISFF jury chose two winners of the national competition: the ribbon “I died in Irpen” directed by Anastasia Falileeva, as well as the film “Where Russia Ends” directed by Oleksiy Radinsky.

The director strikes a remarkable balance between the seriousness of a personal story of survival and subtle visceral humor, evoking poignant and powerful emotions that stay with us for a long time, – the jury recognized the work of Anastasia Falileyeva.

Who received the awards:

  • A special award of the national competition was awarded to the film Olexii Radinsky “Where Russia ends”.
  • The main prize of the national competition was awarded to the director Anastasia Falileeva for the film “I died in Irpen”.
  • The award for the best film of the international competition according to the jury went to a film by Samuel Suffren“Dreams like paper boats”.
  • The first special award of the international competition was awarded to the film “Beautiful Men” by Nicolas Keppens.
  • The second special award of the international competition was awarded to the film “Pen for shulga” by Adas Burksaitis.
  • The Grand Prix of the international competition went to the film “Savages of Greater Toronto” directed by Solmund McPherson. the contest went to Oleksiy Radinskyi and his film “Where Russia Ends”. Competition films were divided into international and Ukrainian programs, but there were not only them at KISFF: queer stories, Estonian pop art of the 1970s, the format “60 films in 60 minutes” and other sections.
