The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted bills that expanded the list of persons who are not subject to conscription during mobilization and have the right to deferment from mobilization. This was reported by Olena Shulyak.

Bill No. 7481 expands the circle of persons liable for military service who are not subject to conscription during mobilization. Namely:  

Women and men whose close relatives (husband, wife, son, daughter, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother or full (full, half) brother or sister) died or went missing during: – the implementation of measures to ensure national security and defense, repulse and containment of the armed aggression of the Russian Donetsk and Luhansk regions; & nbsp; – p in order to ensure national security and defense, repel and deter armed aggression against Ukraine during martial law.

The bill and №7352  amends the law on mobilization regarding the deferment military service of certain categories of persons.

Scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical workers have the right to deferment from conscription, provided that they work in scientific institutions and organizations, institutions of higher, professional higher, professional (vocational) or general secondary education at the main place of work for at least 0.75 rates.

Laws come into force on the day following the day of their publication.
