The administration of US President Joe Biden has decided to close the trade loophole, used by platforms with such cheap Chinese goods as Temu, Shein and AliExpress. The Financial Times writes about it.

The new US rules aim to ensure that direct-to-consumer products cannot avoid higher tariffs, which the White House says cover 40 % of imports from China, including 70% of textiles.
