The United States government has approved the sale of nearly $2 billion worth of radar stations and the NASAMS air defense system to Taiwan.
This was reported by the Security Cooperation Agency of the US Ministry of Defense DSCA, Ukrinform reports.
The document refers to the permission to sell the NASAMS system and related equipment for $1.16 billion, as well as AN/TPS-77 and AN/TPS-78 radars for $828 million.
